adding all these pics.
here goes.

we're in tis place called "Xin Tian Di".
it was a group of western architecture left behind by those colonial ppl.
once a residential area,
it's now a money-spinning arena.

allow me to introduce my brother, Ben Tan

and my lousy bro, Bryan Tan.

needless to say, the one clutching to me tightly is my dad.
together with bryan stealing the limelight.

we're on the boat, waiting to cruise HuangPu river.
it's god damn cold,
and i'm practically shivering.
to add on, it's RAINING at 6 degrees.
i need two blankets when i sleep in air-con in singapore.
tis is one of e better pics taken.
huangpu river divides shanghai into two, basically.
pudong and puxi.
modern and old.
day2:

we're on e way to suzhou.
past e dumb but nice industrial park which singapore pumped in dunno how many millions or billions.
it's a disgrace. and a v bad scar on our faces.
tis is jinji lake,
loosely translated as "golden chicken lake".
me and my two other siblings.
and my parents.
ben and bryan were trying to act like models, walking on the side of e pavement.
we finished our lunch and i saw tis beautiful pillar, on which there's a tablet of a famous poem which got hanshansi famous.
and tis, is han shan si.

that same old poem, only that it's way larger.
tis temple ought to be mentioned especially.
it's actually a temple for couples to pray,
so that they can be together for TEN LIFETIMES!!!
omg.
my parents went to pray.
i wonder who's going to do housework next lifetime.
sibei said that she'll want to pray too.
lol.
joselyn said that she'll get real tired of the guy.
tis is ou yuan, the residence of a rather wealthy couple.
it's special becoz the master of the house allowed his wife to study and entertain guests together,
which was extremely rare and open-minded of him during his era.
think feetbounding.
while we were buying gifts, the three guys went photo-taking.
we met up after we were done and my dad took tis rather nice pic of my mother.
tis is ling shan da fo.
it's erected to bless e fishermen who depend on fishing in tai hu.
but THEN AGAIN,
tai hu is a LAKE.
would there EVER be waves??
see the petals of the lotus?
you have to donate ONE MILLION SG DOLLARS TO PUT YOUR NAME THERE.
anything below that will do too.
your name will just be at a MUCH LESS visible place. O:D
while mummy, papa and bryan went climbing,
mama took tis pic of us.
and we took tis pic of mama.

we were on the steps.
so steep!!!!
so zhai!!!
omg!!!
minute maid in china is NICE. and it cost only 80 SG cents.
